Set in a peaceful residential district of Vilamoura yet handy for enjoying its many attractions, the Villa Viegas is large, modern and comfortable. Providing a pleasant base for visiting the beach, marina and all the entertainments and sporting facilities of the resort, the villa offers a good standard of accommodation with a noticeably homely ambience that will make you feel welcome as soon as you step over the threshold. Traditionally white walls, comfortable soft furnishings and typically Portuguese floor tiles feature strongly throughout, making all the rooms, including the open-plan sitting-dining space, feel familiar and cosy. Outside, the garden is largely laid to terrace, with ample space to the side of the house and around the excellent pool for sitting with drinks and absorbing the peace and quiet of the surroundings. A small covered terrace area overlooking the pool offers shade when the temperature climbs and the grounds are mostly enclosed to the rear, contributing to the overall sense of privacy. When you fancy a break from cooking al-fresco meals on the barbecue provided, there are restaurants and bars within easy walking distance and a nearby supermarket for getting in holiday provisions. Vilamoura centre and its picturesque beach are also conveniently close, around two or so kilometres away. NB. A refundable breakages deposit of and euro;200 is payable in cash on arrival.
