The Tangerine Beach Hotel is a modern resort overlooking the beach on Sri Lanka's beautiful south-west coastline, two miles from the town of Kalutara and 25 miles from the island's capital, Columbo. Upon entering the lobby you will be struck by the clever combination of ancient and modern ethnic styles with giant wooden carved doors, life-size statues of ceremonial figures from the animal kingdom and a vast indoor water garden with Koi carp and exotic pink and purple water lilies floating on its surface.

Sri Lanka's Tangerine Beach Hotel has 166 luxurious guestrooms and suites. Every room and suite offers a breathtakingly beautiful view of the ocean and palm-filled gardens, as well as a private balcony or terrace, air conditioning and well appointed bathrooms with a bath and a shower. 24-hour room service is available to ensure you can always get something to eat or drink whatever time of the day or night it may be. Outside amongst the coconut palms there is plenty of space to sit and relax in the sun or cool off with a dip in the large, inviting swimming pool. Younger guests can splash around in the adjacent kid's pool whilst you keep a close eye on them from the swim-up bar. The pool area and gardens lead directly onto the beautiful beach where you can enjoy a romantic stroll along the sands or jump straight into the Indian Ocean.

For those who enjoy a little pampering a visit to the Tangerine Spa is a must. The spa offers eight different massages with only natural ingredients in the specially blended oils used as well as foot soaks, body scrubs and wraps, reflexology, pedicures and facials. The spa also boasts a sauna and steam room. Guests of the Tangerine Beach Hotel are also spoilt for choice when it comes to food and beverage options with a main restaurant serving international cuisine, a stylish outdoor a la carte restaurant with great views, a lounge bar with regular evening entertainment, a pool and beach bar for convenience and a coffee shop serving light meals and snacks.

The hotel is found in beautiful Sri Lanka, just over two miles from the stunning town of Kalutara.

##Accomodation
All rooms have bathroom/shower, WC, air-conditioning, balcony/terrace, fan, mini fridge, telephone and satellite TV. The rooms are wheel chair accessible.

##Eating and Drinking
Sample both eastern and western cuisine at the hotels main restaurant located on the mezzanine floor, overlooking the sea and water garden, or stop by the Coffee Shop on the ground floor which specialises in serving light meals and snacks. The lounge bar located right next to the cascading water garden is one of the most scenic entertainment areas at the Tangerine Beach Hotel and is also the venue for most of the evening entertainment events and theme nights. Lastly, the Pool and Beach Pavilion Bar located right next to the pool has flair bartenders creating cocktails using home-grown ingredients such as coconut and the favourite local brew, Arrack.

Drinks

Located in the Pebbles Lounge 10:00 - Midnight.
Serving draught beer, local brand spirits including Whiskey, Vodka, Rum, Gin, Brandy, Arrack, selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, soft drinks, cordials and drinking water can be obtained from the bars during operational hours.

All-Inclusive guests are required to wear the hotels wrist bands from arrival until 12:00 noon on the day of the departure. After this time food and beverages will be charged at the standard price. Failure to wear the wrist band will result in the cancellation of the All-Inclusive facilities.

##Swimming Pools
The hotel has a large freshwater swimming pool and a swim-up bar whilst sun seekers can stretch out along the edge of the pool and bask in the warmth of the tropical sun. A children's pool located right next to the main pool allows parents keep an eye on their toddlers or join them to splash around. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi for guests to relax in.
