Hotel Overview

At just a forty five minute journey from the airport, your luxury holiday at Tamassa can begin with a drive through the incredible Mauritian countryside and the fabulous cane fields that surround the hotel itself. Once you've arrived, if the journey was more stressful than you thought, you can collapse onto your luxurious queen sized bed or just have a peaceful look at the sea from your private terrace or balcony. If the journey was a little stifling, all rooms are air conditioned, so you can relax in comfort. You might even want to take a long bath in the naturally lit en suite bathroom, or if you want to keep up with the news to check out the satellite TV service.

When you're dining at Tamassa, there are a wide range of options available. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooks the main pool. You can be seated in the main terrace, in the garden or close to the action – the cooks are on show as they prepare your food, giving the restaurant its name, Show. There's also a great Beach Restaurant and Bar, Playa, where you can enjoy delicious South American Cuisine with your feet in the soft white sand.

##Location
Tamassa is in the south-west of Mauritius and close to the fantastic Yemen game reserve. It's a great day out for the family, and safaris are available. There are also the amazing waterfalls at Chamarel nearby, another great day out, as well as some fantastic historical sites like the Martello Towers.

All rooms come with en suite bathroom, separate toilet, satellite TV and DVD, internet access, mini bar, private balcony or terrace, air conditioning, telephone, safe, hair dryer and complimentary tea and coffee facilities.

##Eating and Drinking
There are two places to get food in the hotel. The main restaurant is Show where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, and you can get lunch and dinner at the beach restaurant Playa. You can also enjoy a relaxing drink and conversation at the B-Bar, a split level bar serving colourful cocktails.
