Hotel Overview

The Sahara Grand Sharm Hotel (formerly known as the Creative Grand Sharm Hotel) is close to Diamond Beach in the Um el Sid area of Sharm. The area is popular and famous for its exotic marine life and coral reefs. The reefs just offshore are considered to be among the top five diving and snorkelling sites in the world.

##Location
The hotel complex is comprised of low rise buildings grouped together, and has 182 rooms in total. The private Palma Beach is just under a mile away and can be reached by one of the frequent shuttle`s leaving from the hotel. The sandy beach offers a dive centre, floating parasols jetty and easy access to the sea. There is also a small selection of shops and restaurants within 50 metres and the main nightlife is in Naama Bay approximately 4 miles away.

Please note that a visitor`s visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a buffet style restaurant with seating inside or outside, 3 bars and a cafe.

The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes buffet style breakfast in the Fontana Restaurant from 7am to 10am, buffet style lunch at the Fontana Restaurant from 1pm to 3pm, afternoon tea at the pool bar from 4pm to 5pm including tea, coffee, cookies and ice cream for children, buffet dinner at the Fontana Restaurant from 7pm to 9pm. During lunch and dinner there is a kids corner at lunch time with different daily items like mini burgers, mini pizza, sausages, French fries and jelly for deserts. Drinks are available between 10am and 11pm including local beer, local wine, local alcoholics, soft drinks (Cola, Sprite, Fanta), mineral water, tea and coffee, juices, espresso, sparkling wine and sparkling water not included. No alcoholic drinks or food will be served at the beach area and all soft drinks will be served in plastic cups. N.B: room service is not included in this package, Christmas and New Year gala dinners are excluding any drinks.

The hotel has a large swimming pool with an area for children.
