The Palm Island by Elite Island Resorts is a private resort with a relaxed ambiance. It is one of the smallest islands that make up the Grenadines, a chain of 32 islands that stretch north from Grenada, about 150 miles west of Barbados. Palm Island by Elite Island Resorts covers 135 acres and has 5 white sandy beaches and is dotted with traditional beach homes and some great walking trails where you can see iguanas and plenty of bird life.

In terms of accommodation, each of the guestrooms is beautifully designed with a summery layout, offering sea views, garden views or even boasting a beachfront location. Pitch a spot on one of the five private beaches to while away the hours soaking up some sun or spend your time by the outdoor swimming pool which curves around rock water features and palm trees which pepper the poolside. Tranquillity is where you can enjoy a range of therapeutic treatments from massage to beauty or for something a bit more thrilling there are a range of activities on offer from kayaking and snorkelling to bicycle excursions and tennis.

At the end of the day, your guestrooms is a stylish retreat which provides you with that on-the-beach feel, with thatched roofs and some offering balcony areas overlooking the sea. Guests fly to St. Lucia and take a local flight to Union Island from where boats operate the 1 mile transfer to Palm Island. Just a small island that makes up the Grenadines, guests at this hotel are surrounded by five beaches each offering peace and quiet where you can while away the hours in the sunshine and enjoy snorkelling, diving and a range of other activities in the azure blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. For a secluded and stunning Caribbean setting, Palm Island is the one for you.

Please note: passengers connecting from Barbados to Palm Island with effect from 1st November, 2008, the free checked baggage allowance will be one (1) bag per passenger not to exceed 20 kilos. The charge for a second checked bag not to exceed 20 kilos, will be US $50.00 per passenger, and the charge for a third checked bag not to exceed 20 kilos will be US $100.00 per passenger. The maximum number of checked bags allowed per passenger will be 3 bags. There will be also be an allowance of 1 standard piece of hand luggage per passenger, (not to exceed 6 kilos (13 lbs). PLEASE NOTE THAT CARRIAGE OF EXTRA LUGGAGE on the same flight on which the passenger is travelling, will be subject to availability.

There are 2 restaurants serving a selection of international and West Indian cuisine, fresh fish and lobster, and 2 bars.

Buffet and a la carte meals are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks are also provided throughout the day.
