Hotel Overview

Set against a backdrop of pine-green forest and just five minutes from Kavos Town, the Olympion Village offers a great setting within easy reach of the resort centre. Because it's raised on a hillside, it comes with fantastic views of the town and the sea. Talking of the sea, there's a long, sandy beach just a 10-minute walk away. And all Kavos shops, restaurants bars and Clubs can be reached in about five minutes on foot.

As its name suggests, the Olympion Village itself looks more like a small town than a hotel. Its ten pastel-yellow apartment blocks are surrounded by well-kept gardens, which cascade down to the reception and pool area. Outside, the large swimming pool takes centre stage. Olympion surrounded by a spacious sunbathing deck and an outside bar which serves a great selection of drinks and snacks,

Inside, there's a lobby bar featuring a lengthy cocktail menu and a huge TV screen which showcases sporting events. On the dining front, meanwhile, there's a large restaurant which specialises in Greek and Italian cuisine. When it comes to rooms at the Olympion Village, you can choose between apartments and studios. Both come with spacious, pastel-painted rooms, which are decked out with contemporary furnishings. They've got all the modern amenities too, like a satellite TV and DVD player, and come with air-conditioning and balconies or patios. In Kavos, holidays neatly divide into two time zones – under-the-sun and after-dark.

##Location
Just a short walk away from the apartments there's a fabulous sandy beach stretching five miles from end to end – so plenty of snoozing space there. If you've got the energy to get active, there are watersports from pedaloes to parasailing. And while the beach is fairly narrow, its gentle slope into the sea gives you broad shallows – perfect for lazy floats on a lilo. The Kavos resort has more little shops than you'll ever need for anything from T-shirts to coffee cups. And, along with a couple of traditional tavernas, there are bags of cafes where you can grab a burger lunch or order an English breakfast – whatever time you wake. So sustenance can be pretty cheap. Holidays to Kavos really come alive after dark though – so pace yourself for the clubs, pubs and music bars partying till dawn.

##Accomodation
Guests can stay either in the one or two-bedroom apartments that can sleep up to 4 people, in spacious studios for up to 3 people or the maisonettes that sleep up to 2 people in two beds in an open plan living area.

All of the apartments, studios and maisonettes all feature a terrace and a kitchenette along with amenities including: air conditioning (local charge) - TV - hair dryer - ironing facilities (on request) - fridge - kettle - electric hob.

##Eating and Drinking
Each of the studios and apartments at the Olympion Village Aparthotel is well equipped for self-catering holiday with a kitchenette to help you prepare meals whenever you like. Additionally there is also a mini-market onsite which provides all the essential supplies you might need.

For whenever you feel like a change from self-catering however you need only walk a few minutes into the centre of Kavos where you can find a variety of tavernas and restaurants serving cuisine to suit a variety of tastes.

##Swimming Pools
There is a large outdoor pool with a separate pool for children at the complex and sunbathing facilities are provided on the terrace next to the pool to help you make the most of the sun.
