Located within Victoria's historic Inner Harbour District, The Magnolia Hotel & Spa offers guests easy access to all the city's central attractions including fine shops and the Victoria Conference Centre. Everything about the Magnolia creates an atmosphere of an intimate European-style boutique hotel. In the lobby, a barrel-vaulted gold leaf ceiling and alabaster chandeliers illuminate the space. Mahogany-paneled walls, Persian style area rugs, cozy fireplace, comfortable sofas and oversized armchairs invite guests to relax and enjoy the warm ambiance. All 63 rooms and suites are air-conditioned with individual climate control and feature floor to-ceiling opening windows, deep crown mouldings, custom-designed traditional furniture, two-poster beds dressed in duvets and feather pillows. Lavish marble bathrooms have full walk-in glass showers and separate deep soaker tubs and come complete with luxurious linens, signature bathrobes and AVEDA toiletries and bath balms. Guestroom amenities include two line speaker phone with data port, high speed internet, bedside cordless phones, voice mail, 27 inch cable TV with On-command movies, refreshment centre and wet bar with refrigerator, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, iron & ironing board and hairdryer. Superior rooms have either a king or a queen or double/double bed and can accommodate up to triple occupancy based on sharing existing beds.
The Magnolia Hotel has two uniquely different restaurants and micro-brewery under one roof. For relaxed dining in an atmosphere richly appointed with warm textiles and wonderful woodwork, Hugo's Grill serves up gourmet food and offers an extensive wine list at lunch and dinner, while for a more casual experience surrounded by steel accents, heritage brick walls and an in-house brewery operation for beer connoisseurs, the Brewmaster has created an exclusive selection of true non-pasteurized traditional beers, based on Eastern European recipes.
