Ixia is a popular area with guests looking for a quieter resort but still close to Rhodes Town. The beach is a mix of sand, shingle and pebbles and the strong winds along the coastline make it a windsurfer`s paradise.

The Lito Hotel sits in its own attractive gardens and is 50 metres from the beach. There are a variety of shops, mini-markets, bars and restaurants along the beach road and the capital, Rhodes Town, is only 3 miles away. The temperatures in summer are comfortable thanks to the cooling breeze.
