The Residence La Paix Hotel Tunisia sits in its own gardens just 200 metres from Hammamet's sandy beach and one mile from Hammamet's walled medina. The La Paix Hotel offers basic but comfortable accommodation in a quiet, relaxed environment. Each of the 64 guestrooms have balconies and a kitchenette and the hotel has a small pool and sun terrace which gets the sun throughout the day.

Breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed at Residence La Paix Hotel's main restaurant which serves traditional Tunisian and international dishes and there is a poolside snack bar where you can relax and enjoy the gardens. There is also an open air bar, a pizzeria and, on the hotel's private section of the beach, a beach bar serving crepes, sandwiches and Mediterranean specialties.

Hammamet centre is a 15 to 20 minute stroll away has a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops whilst the larger resort of Yasmine Hammamet and the Carthageland amusement park are six miles from the hotel, but well worth a visit.

If you are a keen golfer, there are a couple of excellent golf courses in the area including the 18-hole Yasmine championship course and the 45-hole Citrus complex on the outskirts of Hammamet.

Also worth a visit, is the walled Medina with its winding alley ways filled with street vendors ready to sell you a bargain.
