Hotel Overview

Situated not too far from the historic and pretty town of Huevla on the Costa de la Luz, the Hotel Islantilla Golf Resort is set in the middle of a large and exclusive golf course as well as being only a short distance from the beach. The hotel and resort is a haven for golf lovers as it has 3 specially designed 9-hole golf courses of varying difficulty that make for many different combinations, all surrounded by the nature of the area. The golfing activities don't stop there either as the resort also features a spacious driving range with 3 bunkers, 2 putting greens and a pitch area. There is also an exclusive golf academy at the hotel, run by PGA professionals who have varying experience in both playing and teaching; the academy is ideal for those looking to learn the sport or if you just feel you could learn more, there are programs designed for all ages and levels of play.

However the hotel is also well suited for leisure guests too as the hotel is located not far from a great beach and there are plenty of other activities and facilities at the hotel that will keep most guests relaxed and/or active. The resort has its own spa and beauty centre perfect for those looking to unwind, the centre features a covered indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and Turkish baths as well as massage rooms, hydro-massage showers and a gym making it an ideal spot for rest and recuperation whether you are there to play golf or not. ##Accomodation
There are a total of 204 comfortable and modern guest rooms at the hotel with 97 spacious double rooms, 88 junior suites, 7 senior suites and even 12 duplex style bungalows. All of the rooms are well-appointed with a range of amenities that include air conditioning, internet access, minibar, telephone, a safe, balcony/terrace and en suite bathrooms with bath/shower, WC and hairdryer.

##Eating and Drinking
There is both a buffet restaurant and a-la-carte restaurants at the hotel; the Las Carabelas is the main buffet restaurant and serves a great choice of dishes for breakfast and dinner with themed buffets during the week such as Italian, Mexican and seafood days.
The a-la-carte restaurant is the Club de Golf, here you can enjoy a great low-calorie options such as salads and sandwiches and enjoy Italian cuisine in the evening for the dinner service.
There is also the Club de Playa which is located at the resort's Beach Club, it features a large lounge-terrace that overlooks the sea and serves a selection of regional dishes and Argentine-style meat choices.
Available just during the summer months is the La Ola, the hotel's Pool Grill Restaurant as well as the Beach Club Restaurant

##Swimming Pools
The hotel features a covered indoor swimming pool in the solarium as part of its spa and wellness centre. There is also an even more impressive large outdoor swimming pool in the hotel grounds.
