AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Crystal Hotel is a mile from the centre of town, directly opposite the natural harbour and sits in attractive gardens. The town sits on Mirabello Bay and has a long seafront promenade running north from the harbour. In the centre of the town is Lake Vouliismeni, a near circular lake bordered by cliffs on one side and cafes with views on the other.

The hotel in Crete is small, family run and has good views across the sea and town. The nearest sandy beach is a 15 minute walk away. In the centre there is are restaurants, shops, an aquarium and a cinema, a selection of cafes and boutiques and a weekly market. The beach has varied watersports and the harbour and waterfront area, around which the nightlife is centred, also has boat trips.
