##Location
The Golden Beach Hotel is located close to several beaches in the area, including Sousse, Hammamet and Port El Kantaoui where you will find plenty of water based activities to keep you occupied on your Tunisia holidays, including snorkeling, diving, windsurfing and paragliding. Skanes is located in the suburban area of the historic town of Monastir where you will find an ancient port, a modern marina and lots of bazaars for those local bargain gifts to take home on your holiday at the Golden Beach Hotel. Skanes is also home to 2 excellent 18-hole golf courses or you could head a bit further and check out the 36-hole championship course in Port El Kantaoui.

For a taste of history on your Skanes holidays, visit the Christian catacombs that date back to the 3rd century AD in Sousse, the Kasbah with its archaeological museum and the Medina where you can check out the shops and the 9th century Great Mosque. ##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a buffet style restaurant, a tropical bar, a orient bar, a pool bar, a snack bar and beach bar.

The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes breakfast between 7am and 10am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and dinner between 6.30pm and 9pm, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, fruit juices, beer and table wine (all local) are offered. Snacks are available from 10am to midnight in one of the hotels four bars. In the afternoon guests can have pastries, cakes, ice cream, coffee and tea. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, brandy, gin, coffee, tea, cacao and water are served between 10am and midnight.
