4* hotel Elefant is a striking addition to Riga's hotel scene that once visited you will never forget. The hotel opened in 2008 and used exclusively Latvian designers. It is located in the up-and-coming Kalnciema district. The hotel has a strong modern Asian influence, not least the use of the elephant motive - evident in the 6m elephant in the hotel restaurant - and has used natural materials combined with subtle lighting throughout. All air-conditioned guest rooms are decorated in a contemporary, urban style and feature flat-screen TV, safe, mini-bar, radio, satellite TV and pay movies as well as private facilities. Guests can relax in the bar or enjoy a meal in the Polynesian-themed restaurant or make use of the luggage room and free internet corner. The hotel has wireless access free-of-charge throughout the building.
