Large modern hotel situated in the middle of Copenhagen Harbour, adjacent to the large shopping mall, Fisketorvet. The Danish architect Kim Utzon designed this unique property. A seven storey glass tower, the Copenhagen Island Hotel truly makes the most of its location, offering lovely views across the Harbour. The contemporary Scandinavian decor subtly evokes elements of the sea. Bedrooms for example are decorated in light blues and whites and on close inspection you will see the headboards are shaped as sails! Regular services to Central Station run from the nearby train station for those who would prefer not to take the 15-20 minutes walk to the more central area of the City.
