The resort with something for everyone? Oh yes! Centara Karon Resort is located on Karon Beach, where couples, families and groups can all enjoy playing sports, exploring the sandy expanse, or simply just relaxing. And thanks to the resort's proximity to Kata and Patong beaches and plentiful facilities, the fun doesn't have to stop there.
The various rooms and villas are scattered throughout four residential zones, each having unique advantages. The Terraces, for instance, offers great views of the resort gardens and Karon Beach from its nine storeys, while Tropicale has Thai contemporary furnishings and a lounge offering food, drink, and reading matter.
As well as three children's swimming pools, there is plenty to keep the kids happy. As part of Kids Club, they can participate in a range of different activities. Camp Safari, for instance, challenges kids aged 4 to 9 to complete all manner of fun activities before being awarded with a sticker. Those aged 10 to 17, meanwhile, have the dedicated E-Zone, where they can play games for consoles like the PlayStation and Nintendo Wii.

And while the kids are busy with all that, why not treat yourself to a bit of fun, too? The resort's sports centre boasts top-drawer facilities, including two floodlit tennis courts and a fully equipped gymnasium. More sedate sporting pastimes, like snooker and darts, are also probable.

And speaking of fun, it's the best word to describe the exotic nightlife at Centara Karon Resort. As well as delicious cocktails and karaoke contests, you can enjoy great live music from the resident band. Alternatively, hop onto a shuttle bus and head to Patong, a fantastic local nightlife hotspot.

When the time comes to really wind down, though, head for Spa Cenvarees. They offer a wide variety of natural pampering treatments, encompassing massages, facials and nail care, to ensure that your body, mind and soul are restored and replenished.

Location
You certainly won't be short of beaches to play and relax on while holidaying on Phuket island - as well as Karon Beach, where Centara Karon Resort is located, Kata and Patong beaches are also close by. If, however, you are more interested in unravelling the fascinating history of the island, then head to Phuket town. Here, fascinating architecture, Chinese shrines and Buddhist temples all betray the town's rich cultural heritage. A more exciting attraction for families should be Phuket Zoo - where animals like tigers, emus and camels can be observed, and strange sea creatures watched in the aquarium.

Centara Karon Resort offers 335 rooms and villas, scattered across four residential zones: The Terraces, The Lagoon, Tropicale, and The Cabanas. Facilities differ throughout the rooms, but a bathroom, shower, air conditioning, mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities are all common.

##Eating and Drinking
The Lotus and Azure restaurants sell Asian and International meals. Elsewhere, Terrace Grill sells seafood and steak, while The Mix sells drinks and snacks in the lobby at The Terraces. Tropix, Lagoon Bar and Terraces Pool Bar all sell poolside drinks and snacks.
