Hotel Overview

Built in the traditional thatched style, the LUX* Belle Mare (previously Beau Rivage Hotel) is instantly recognisable as a tropical paradise. Nestling on the shoreline of Mauritius at the beach at Belle Mare, the hotel is a hidden gem with incredible facilities that might make you want to stay forever. If you do decide to venture outside the confines of this beautiful resort, the hotel staff are incredibly friendly and will be more than happy to give you tips and advice on the best places to sightsee.

Just an hour away from the airport, the LUX* Belle Mare is easy to find, and a drive through the amazing natural landscape of Mauritius might be just the ticket you need to start your holiday on the right foot. There's loads to see and do around the hotel, including visiting the incredible Flacq Market, a huge and colourful open air market close to the hotel itself. You may want to stay in the hotel though – it boasts a fantastic spa, and all rooms have a balcony or terrace facing on to the sea. There are a kids' club and a teens' club to keep the children happy, as well as a range of complimentary water sports and land based activities if you ever get bored of being pampered.

The hotel has four separate restaurants offering a range of food to cater to all tastes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served, but the hotel offers holidays on a half-board basis, so lunch isn't included in the price. Themed buffets are served some evenings at some of the restaurants, with themes ranging from traditional Mauritian food to tasty Asian cooking. The hotel also has two bars that serve a range of drinks including fresh juices and refreshing cocktails. Again, these aren't included in the price of the holiday but with warm sunshine and the sea lapping at your feet, it's hard to care too much!

##Location
Set on the East Coast of Mauritius, the LUX* Belle Mare (previously Beau Rivage Hotel) is close to some of the best tourist attractions in the area. The incredible Ile aux Cerfs is a tiny and beautiful island a short boat trip away and shouldn't be missed out on, or if you want to stay closer to the hotel check out the Waterpark Leisure Village for guaranteed fun for all!

The rooms at the Beau Rivage all have a private terrace or balcony, en suite bathroom, TV and mini bar.

##Eating and Drinking
In the hotel itself there are four restaurants and two bars. In nearby Flacq there are a range of great Mauritian restaurants and beach bars.

There are two pools – one of them is a kids' pool – and a beautiful beach on the lagoon.
