This modern four star property is 4 miles from the Hammamet Medina. The afro - Asian styled African Queen Hotel is set amongst attractive gardens filled with palm trees, bananas and bougainvilleas. Hammamet is not just popular for its palm fringed golden sandy beaches, shopping and water sports but also its history. A 15th century fortress overlooks the resort and coastline and the local medina is packed with bazaars giving visitors a taste of the traditional.

The African Queen Hotel has 234 guestrooms including 30 family rooms. Two thirds of the rooms enjoy a sea view and all are furnished with items imported from Asia. There are plenty of water sports on offer locally including water skiing, surfing, sailing, parasailing and windsurfing, and diving. For golfers there are 2 courses in the area, the Yasmine golf course with 18-holes and the Citrus golf course.
