Kefalos is a very popular resort on the south west coast of Kos which lies in the middle of the Dodecanese islands near to the Turkish coast. Fresh from the sea and simply cooked it is both delicious and inexpensive. Local wines are pleasing to both the palate and the pocket. Children are made very welcome in restaurants and their tastes and portion sizes are usually accommodated.
