Blackpool airport is situated 10 minutes from the end of the M55, via the A5230 south of Blackpool city centre.
The nearest railway station is Squires Gate, which is 5 minutes walk away from the airport. Regular trains depart from here to Preston and the rest of the UK. Taxis depart from the taxi rank outside of the airport terminal building. National Express operates coaches from the train station outside the terminal building into Aberdeen city centre.
At Blackpool airport the majority of flights which depart from the airport are to European destinations apart from flights to Jersey, Dublin and Belfast and the Isle of Man.
