Dream Holidays, the Greece, Cyprus and Egypt specialist has ceased trading today (19th July 2011). Set up just over a year ago by the former Libra Holidays boss Akis Kyprianou, has collapsed with approximatley 600 people overseas.

All package holidays booked with Dream Holidays are protected under their ATOL licence and any customers currently overseas will have the flights back home arranged by the CAA.

In a statement through Travel Weekly (travel press), the Dream Holidays boss, Akis Kyprianou, said: "I wish to express my sincere apologies for all the inconvenience this will cause to all the travelling public that have booked a holiday with us, to those holidaymakers who are currently in resort, as well as all our retail and overseas agents and hoteliers who have supported us over the last two years.

"Sincere apologies also go to all our devoted staff and business associates who have worked hard to establish the business over the last two seasons."
