The Villa Avra is a modern and homely getaway in a perfect location for rest and relaxation. Overlooking a lovely banana grove and offering sea views, the house combines a peaceful air of seclusion with easy access to Coral Bay beach only four kilometres away. Spread over two storeys, the upper of which centres on a shady balustraded balcony commanding great views over the distant Mediterranean, the villa is nicely furnished to a simple and comfortable standard. The cosy bedrooms are matched by a good-size, open-plan sitting room and well-equipped kitchen-diner, and there are some thoughtful finishing touches which make the house feel like a home, including a video and CD stereo. Air-conditioning is available to keep the interiors cool in the summer heat - a real boon after hot days sightseeing or on the beach. To the rear is a private pool terrace bordered by flowerbeds, which offers plentiful room for stretching out in the sunshine. A brick-built barbecue is provided for cooking up alfresco meals beside the pool and a small pergola offers a sun-dappled dining area perfect for family get-togethers.
