Hotel Overview

The Verandah Resort and Spa by Elite Island Resorts (formerly known the Verandah Hotel) sits in 30 acres on the untouched north east coast of the island. The hotel is adjacent to a soft white sand beach and features a world of living indigenous ecosystems. A reef protected turquoise bay surrounds the property and the eco-tourism attraction: Devil`s Bridge, is a brief walk away. Much of the island is covered with banana, mango and coconut groves, lush vegetation and rainforest as well as a number of old sugar mills and pleasant little churches.

##Location
This low rise property with 200 rooms was built and designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking sea views and lush surrounding tropical landscape. The exterior combines Caribbean architecture with gabled roofs and timber clad frames and the hotels spacious rooms have large private verandahs.

There is now a range of spa holidays on offer at this resort, guests can choose from a range of treatments including reflexology, massage, facials and wraps and enjoy five 45 minute treatments within a one week all-inclusive stay. This is an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic escape or groups looking for true relaxation.

There are a variety of activities on offer for guests to try every day including - beach cricket, beach volley ball, water volley ball, aquasize, a range of exercise classes, Caribbean dance classes, garden tours, beach olympics and table tennis competitions.

Waterview suites and Waterfront suites have a sea view

Each suite contains one king size bed and one sofa which converts to a queen size bed in the same room. Please note there is no privacy curtain between these 2 sleeping areas

All have - bathroom/shower - WC - balcony/terrace - TV - telephone - air conditioning - kitchenette - microwave - coffee maker - fridge - safe - (certain amenities may be payable locally)

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a bistro serving Caribbean and international dishes. Barbecues, buffets and a la carte are all available. Private dining on your terrace can be arranged (local charge) and there are 5 cocktail bars. The hotels all inclusive programme includes all meals, drinks and snacks although certain restaurants incur a supplement.
