The Sun City Resort Hotel is situated in the heart of the Baga Beach area of Calangute. This popular Goa hotel is also well positioned for many of the other excellent beaches in the area including Calangute Beach, Anjuna Beach, Vagator Beach, Candolim Beach, Singuerim Beach and Morjim Beach (all of which are within a five mile radius of the Sun City Resort Hotel). Many of these beaches have excellent water sport facilities and the local area is also full of markets where you can haggle for local silk, spices, fruit and vegetables, souvenirs, jewellery, carpets and carvings. If you fancy a day out then the capital of Panajim (Panaji) is only ten miles from the hotel.

##Eating and Drinking
The Sun City Resort offers its guests a number of dining alternatives and a wide range of cuisine to suit all tastes. Earthen Oven is a specialty restaurant which brings the theme of North – West Frontier cuisine to the hotel whilst at Cafe Ambrasio, the round the clock coffee shop, you can enjoy Indian and International cuisine in a lively but casual atmosphere. Between 6.30pm and 11pm there is grilled food to sample at the BBQ Junction and for refreshments there is a lobby bar, the Dolphin, a sunken pool bar serving cocktails and finger food and the Liquid Lounge, a lounge bar serving a mouth–watering array of appetizers along with exotic cocktails and the finest of spirits and wines.
