The Sonesta St. George Hotel Luxor is on the East Bank of the Nile, only a few minutes from Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum. This contemporary seven floor stucco-facade building features attractively-crafted iron balconies and terraces overlooking the Nile.

There are 330 luxurious guestrooms and suites, all of which have recently been renovated to provide luxurious contemporary style accommodation. A wealth of facilities await your arrival at the Sonesta St. George, including a heated outdoor pool with a section for children and a fully-equipped health and fitness centre with free weights, exercise and strength-training machines, massage facilities, a sauna, a steam room and a Jacuzzi. A variety of activities, trips, games and competitions are available for children and, in addition to being in the centre of Luxor's shopping district, the hotel also has its own shopping arcade selling everything from quality Egyptian linen to gold and diamond jewelery.

Luxor is a typically bustling Egyptian city with historical archaeological remains to see and a local market full of colour, exotic sounds and smells. There are three main streets around which everything is based, with plenty of souvenir shops, cafés and restaurants.
