The Protea Hotel Kruger Gate is situated in the heart of Kruger National Park on the banks of Sabie River.

##Accomodation
The hotel has a total of 97 luxurious rooms and seven, six-sleeper chalets. All rooms are inclusive of air conditioning, satellite/cable television, mini bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, a desk and a private bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
The chalets are also equipped for self-catering, with a self-contained kitchen and a fully furnished spacious lounge. They also include two en-suite bedrooms, and a private outdoor braai area.
There are also ‘tree houses' available for children, young or old alike wishing to experience a sleep-out under the stars.
Room service is also available and baby cots upon request. Please note that certain amenities may be payable locally.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel offers a buffet-styled breakfast daily at the main restaurant ‘The Kudyela' and an ‘A la Carte' menu for lunch. The ‘Lapa Restaurant', on the other hand, is the perfect choice for those guests wishing to dine under the stars and to taste authentic African dishes along with culinary delicacies. This restaurant features evening entertainment from Shangaan traditional dancing, African Choirs and Marimba bands.
The hotel also features a pool bar overlooking Sabie River and it is the perfect setting for game viewing. Additionally the hotel is near to many of the area's cafés, bars and restaurants.
