Montrose lies west of Crested Butte and is about 2 hours from the ski resort. This is one of the most scenic drives in America. Along the way to Crested Butte, guests will pass the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, a smaller version of the Grand Canyon, with its steep canyons and sweeping vistas. Further along the way guests can also drive alongside the Blue Mesa Reservoir.||This family-friendly hotel offers a lobby, centrally-located laundry facilities and a car park. Conference facilities with a kitchen are also available.||The resort offers units complete with a fireplace, kitchen with microwave, cable TV with HBO, private phones, and a hot tub in the master bathroom. In-room amenities include a hairdryer, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a washing machine and an ironing set. Individually regulated heating/air conditioning and a balcony or terrace feature in all rooms as standard.||The hotel has a new outdoor hot tub with fabulous views of Crested Butte and a spa room with saunas, dressing rooms and steam showers.
