Hotel Overview

Les iles Hotel was built in 1948 and combines the authentic and retro styles of the period with modern amenities. The hotel enjoys a terrific location in Essaouira beside the entrance to the old walled city and faces directly onto the bay with its wide sandy beaches. The original wing of the hotel is comprised of 23 guest rooms located on 2 floors with an additional 10 guest rooms in the hotel's annex. All the rooms face either the bay and ocean or the hotel's private swimming pool surrounded by pretty greenery.  The hotel offers hospitality, a good location and comfort and tranquillity.
Getting to the hotel: By road from Marrakesh or Agadir its 175km, and the by air into the airport; Essaouira-Mogador.
Local Tips: History, architecture, bazaars sunny cafés.. it is all here along with a bustling fishing port and wide beaches that stretch for miles around the bay dotted with windsurfers.. Please note there is a local tax of 11 to 49 Dh per pax/night ( amount might varies) to be paid locally to the hotel. FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: A large and modern multi-use dining room facing the ocean and serving up to 300 for meals or 500 for cocktails, functioning also as a large conference room for up to 300 persons or as a dining facility with an orchestra capable of seating 200 guests, plus a traditional Moroccan restaurant seating up to 80 persons, Lounge Bar, American Bar and Pool Bar.
Sport, games and activities: Swimming pool with sun terrace and locally you can find nature hikes, swimming, windsurfing, and visits to the islands which are home to a rare species of falcon. Also art exhibitions and a summer festival of Gnaoua music.
