The hotel has a superb location overlooking Scheveningens famous beach, close to The Hague.
Sea Life tourist attraction is a couple of minutes walking distance & opposite to the hotel is Holland Cassino.The hotels main restaurant is located in the famous domed room which is entered via a grand staircase from the lobby. This restaurant serves 2 or 3 course meals and has a good reputation. The other restaurant in the hotel is called Kandinsky, where you can enjoy a fine-dining dinner or lunch with fantastic views of the beach and with outside seating when possible. The beautiful conservatory where you can have a drink or afternoon tea, also with seaview is attractive. Everyday from 18.00 until 22.30 there is a person playing the piano on the bar area. Nice to chill out with a drink.This is a beautiful, traditional building. It is a former health house which is one of the most impressive buildings in the hotel industry and is renowned all over the world due to its history as well as its exterior which is immediately recognisable.The lobby of the hotel is medium in size, with a large reception area and some seating. It is dominated by the main staircase which leads to the hotels famous domed restaurant.This world renowned hotel has a first class beach location but is also only 15 minutes by tram to the centre of the Hague so perfect for all.
