Hotel Overview

Built as a classic ski mountain lodge in 1981, and comprising 50 rooms, the hotel has a European style. It features antique furniture in the large comfortable lobby and the wood burning fireplace is a big attraction. The Café at this charming ski hotel is a fantastic gourmet restaurant offering carefully constructed cuisine using many local ingredients. Other amenities featured at the property include a large outdoor hot tub, a steam room, a gym and a massage treatment room with spa services offered for a fee. Further facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a pub, conference facilities and Internet access. There is parking available for those arriving by car.

## Location
This hotel is located in a ski-in location at the Whitefish Mountain Resort just above Whitefish, Montana and right by the snow bus stop. The area is very scenic with much natural beauty. During winter it has the convenience of being located slope-side and off the beaten track yet is within an hour's drive of Glacier National Park in the summer. It is the western gateway of Glacier National Park (57.3 km) where active outdoor adventure prevails with art, history and all the attractions of a charming western town added to the experience. Guests will find Whitefish Amtrak railway station and Whitefish Lake 11.2 km away and it is 48.2 km to Flathead Lake.

## Rooms
The rooms at the resort are elegant in a rustic Mountain Lodge way and are done in pine, leather, granite and tile. They have modern amenities and all come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, flat screen cable TV, a radio and free WLAN Internet access as well as a small fridge, a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. Furthermore, a washing machine, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning and heating are provided in all accommodation as standard.

## Sport
Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym and it is possible to relax in the hot tub, steam room or with a massage treatment (charges apply). Water sports fans will enjoy waterskiing, motor boating and canoeing (all for an additional fee). Golf enthusiasts can play a round of golf and guests may also wish to explore the surrounding area on bicycle (both for an additional fee).

## Meals
Guests are served a continental breakfast each morning. The evening meal may be enjoyed à la carte or in set menu form.
