Hotel Overview

Situated on the outskirts of Beruwela town, the Eden Resort and Spa Hotel overlooks the beach and Indian Ocean on the south western coast of Sri Lanka. Just a couple of miles away, on the Bentota River, the Confifif Marina offers a selection of water sports including snorkeling, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, jet skis, motor boats and deep sea fishing. This modern Sri Lankan hotel has a total of 158 elegantly furnished guestrooms and suites spread across its four floors. Contemporary in style, with special lighting and a good use of natural textures and shades, all rooms are air conditioned and have a private balcony or terrace as well as a minibar, safe and tea and coffee making facilities.

Outside in the five acres of beautifully manicured tropical gardens there is a large freshwater swimming pool, a small pool for children and an inviting outdoor Jacuzzi. A fitness centre and squash court provides something for the energetic holidaymaker whilst the spa and ayurveda centre provides a wide variety of treatments including massages, facials, reflexology and aromatherapy. The spa area is mainly constructed using natural materials including timber, bamboo, jute, reed and straw and is surrounded by ponds, waterfalls, herbal gardens and natural flower baths made out of rock.

The Eden Resort and Spa has a choice of indoor and outdoor dining venues as well as a popular poolside bar, and guests can also choose from the 24-hour room service menu from the comfort of their own room. Younger visitors will love the pool, beach, games room and play area and for anyone who enjoys a little retail therapy there is a shopping arcade with a gift boutique, jewellery store, dress boutique, souvenirs and a bookshop.

##Eating and Drinking
A choice of international cuisine is available in the hotel's three excellent restaurants, ranging from European and Chinese to Sri Lankan and international. The 24 hour Chameleon Cafe is informal all-day dining restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it the ideal spot for light snacks and drinks. At the Garden of Eden restaurant guests can enjoy a superb international buffet with a wide selection of starters and main courses including Continental, Indian, Sri Lankan, and Chinese cuisine and for contemporary fine dining the Eden Resort and Spa's signature restaurant, Temptations, is a must. The nautically themed Captain's Deck Bar serves aperitifs, after-dinner drinks and live music, and finally Splash, the poolside bar is a great place to enjoy a healthy snack and a refreshing drink while relaxing in the sun.

##Swimming Pools
The hotel has a large freshwater lagoon style swimming pool surrounded by terraces and palm trees. On a central island there is an outdoor Jacuzzi and for younger guests there is a smaller children's pool.
