This scenic resort and hotel lies on a spacious estate of 860 acres that borders the KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife land a world heritage site for its expansive mountain ranges, rivers and diverse plant life. The land allows for long hikes to explore much of its beauty and sights, other activities include horse riding or you can take a day trip in a 4x4 vehicle up Sani Pass to meet the people of the Basuto land or have a drink in the highest pub in Africa. There is even a special “Discovery Park” providing great entertainment for children where they can get to know nature's creatures in a mini farmyard with birds and rabbits.

##Accomodation
The resort offers 3 types of accommodation to suit a variety of guests with standard, superior and deluxe rooms that feature views of the picturesque lakes and rivers of the area. All of the rooms are spacious with separate bedroom and living areas and come with a range of amenities including satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, telephones, heating, in-room safe, and a private bathroom with shower/bath and WC. Additional beds are available on request and cots for young children can also be provided.

##Eating and Drinking
The dining facilities at the hotel and resort are celebrated for providing a wide selection of cuisines that cater for many taste buds. Dining choices include the Eagles Roost Restaurant that offers a buffet style dining, there is also the Bistro that provides a tempting choice of light meals and the Vineknot serves wholesome home-cooked dishes in its warm and inviting atmosphere. There is also the Bergview Restaurant & Bar with a la carte menu and the Glengarry Country Club with delicious light meals available throughout the day, so you might find you are spoilt for choice.

The hotel also features 2 bars and a comfortable lounge area provide great places to enjoy a refreshing drink or relax in the evenings. There is also a café that provides a range of teas and coffee along with light meals throughout the day.
