Ideally located just five minutes' walk from the Spanish Steps (and just a few minutes further from the Trevi Fountain), the standard 3-star Doge Hotel offers affordable accommodation right in the very heart of the Eternal City; renovated guestrooms feature air-conditioning, telephone, refrigerator, satellite TV, safe, internet access and hairdryer as standard. Given the hotel's location, the Doge does not offer an in-house bar, as there is more than an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from in the immediate vicinity. Those wishing to venture further a field will be pleased to learn that the closest metro stop (Barberini) is just a couple of minutes' walk away, allowing truly easy access to all of Rome's major sights including the Vatican and Colosseum; whereas both via del Corso and via Veneto are no more than a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. On a final note, guests should note that continental breakfast is served in the rooms (breakfast choice and timing to be reconfirmed at reception the day before).
