Hotel Overview

The Club Palm Garden Hotel occupies a beautiful beachfront location just two miles from the village of Beruwela, one of Sri Lanka's main west coast resorts. The nearby Confifi Marina (a five minute drive from the resort) offers a selection of water sports including windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, jet skis, motor boats and deep sea fishing. Guests are provided with transportation to the water sport centre, in the marina, from the hotel, and back again when required. There are also several turtle hatcheries to visit nearby and if you are lucky, you may even see some hatching ready to be introduced back to the wild.

Situated 40 miles south of Sri Lanka's capital Columbo and surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens, the Hotel Club Palm Garden has 140 air conditioned guestrooms, each with their own balcony or terrace and a choice of ocean, pool or garden views. The rooms also have en-suite facilities, a telephone and a fan. The hotel's recreations facilities include a large fresh water swimming pool for the entire family to enjoy with a special children's pool to keep younger guests occupied. Sporty guests can enjoy an energetic game of tennis, a round of mini golf (tennis and golf shared with the sister property, the Riverina Hotel) or a work-out in the gym and fitness centre (situated between the Riverina Hotel and Club Palm Garden).

If you need a little rest and relaxation then take a sauna, a steam bath, or treat yourself to a massage. There is also an experienced Yoga Guru who provides meditation and yoga sessions twice a week for a period of an hour. For a full range of spa treatments and therapies guests are welcome to visit the Ayurveda Villa Spa at the nearby Eden Resort and Spa. Food and beverage facilities at the Club Palm Garden Hotel includes a buffet style restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks and a lobby bar which opens throughout the day until late and regularly has evening entertainment with live bands and DJ's.

Complimentary use of the kids club (situated between the Riverina Hotel and Club Palm Garden) is available for children between the ages of 3 and 12 staying in the hotel. This fully supervised club opens seven days a week from 9.30am to 5.30pm and is equipped with a selection of board games, stuffed toys, arts and crafts and a video with a library of animated movies and cartoons. The kids club entertainers organise daily activities including kite making, painting, kids bingo, puzzles, treasure hunts, pool games, face painting, animation shows and sand castle making competitions.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has a main restaurant, two bars and 24 hour room service. The Main Restaurant serves breakfast (7.30am to 10am), lunch (12 noon to 2.30pm) and dinner (7pm to 9.30pm) buffet style and you can enjoy a fabulous selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and cocktails in the Pavilion Lobby Bar daily from 10am to midnight. For those relaxing poolside there is a convenient pool bar serving drinks and snacks between 10am and 8pm.
