Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon (previously Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo Resort) is located on the small but beautiful island of Ellaidhoo, where guests can enjoy their own bit of private paradise. The resort is situated on the eastern fringes of the North Ari Atoll, the largest of the 22 atolls that make up the Maldives islands and is just 42km from the capital, Male. Only 42 kilometres from Male airport, you can reach Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon within 25 minutes.

This luxurious 4-star retreat spoils guests with its fantastic choice of accommodation that includes comfortable double rooms and the stunning villas, and there are a host of brilliant leisure facilities that will ensure you never have a dull day. Whether you are looking for a truly relaxing break or an exciting holiday full of memorable activities the resort will offer all you need with the Azmaara Spa letting you unwind with a sauna and treatment rooms offering various beauty/massage treatments; or alternatively there are some memorable snorkelling experiences at the house reef teeming with marine life from the diving centre. There are also plenty of opportunities to go island hopping to explore the many nearby islands, many of which remain uninhabited, with boats available from any of the resorts or take the trip to the capital for some great shopping. For even more activities to enjoy while staying at the resort there are also tennis courts and beach volleyball, alternatively you could help to stay fit in the gym or just enjoy the live music at the disco.

##Location
The Maldives are a fascinating place to spend a holiday, full of countless memorable experiences and relaxing moments that make it a popular choice amongst couples, families and groups. Situated right in the middle of the Indian Ocean it is one of the best places in the world to experience some brilliant water activities, especially diving and snorkelling with several diving centres offering many opportunities to experience the stunning marine and coral life around the islands. The capital of the Maldives is Male situated on the largest island in the chain by the same name, it is the largest and mostly densely populated island in the Maldives and where you will find much of the more commercial and urban attractions including all the shops, restaurants and other tourist attractions as well as the main airport, it can easily be reached by boat or seaplane from any of the islands.

##Accomodation
The wonderful choice of accommodation at this resort includes 14 spacious standard rooms and 28 superior rooms along with the luxurious separate bungalow accommodation with beach bungalows and for the most unique experience there are the newly built water bungalows that are built on stilts right by the sea. All of the rooms and bungalows feature all the amenities you need to keep you comfortable during your stay including: air conditioning – cable TV – minibar – tea/coffee maker – IDD telephone – private bathroom – shower – hair dryer – toiletries.

##Eating and Drinking
There is a choice of 2 restaurants at the resort with either the Madi Restaurant where you can enjoy a wide choice of delicious dishes from around the world, served buffet style and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Exclusively available for the Water Bungalows guests there is also the Malamathi Restaurant & Bar, an elegant gourmet restaurant offering a wonderful selection of fresh seafood from an a-la-carte menu.

For a great place to sit down in comfort and relax while the world goes by, there is also the Iruohsnee Bar, serving all your favourite drinks and cocktails it is open all day from 10am till midnight.

##Swimming Pools
The resort does not include any swimming pools; however the beach and sea are just steps away where you can enjoy the sun on the beach or try a variety of water sports.
