Opened in 1863 and completely renovated in 2010, this historic city hotel has now been restored to all its former glory. It is centrally located in the financial district of Tianjin, 3 km from Golden Street in the city centre, 5 km from Tianjin Museum, and 6 km from Yin He Square and the History Museum. Beijing is a 2-hour drive and Binhai International Airport is 25 km away. Its rooms are exquisitely decorated, those in the Astor Wing being in Victorian style, and the ones in the River Hai Wing in more contemporary style.
