On Wednesday 16th December 2009, Globespan PLC and its trading companies including Globespan Holidays, Globespan & Flyglobespan entered into administration.

Globespan was Scotlands largest airline, carrying over 1.5m passengers last year, with reports of over 117,000 customers due to travel with the airline.

Winter flights from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen are going to be badly effected as passengers are desperate to rebook with other airlines causing prices to soar.
