Phucket Airport Reopens After Air Crash
Posted on 19 September 2007
Phucket airport, which has been closed for over 24 hours has now reopened following the air crash which left 89 people dead, including eight British nationals.
While the airport was closed, some flights were re-routed to Krabi International Airport, some were delayed and some were cancelled altogether.
Investigations are still on going as to what caused the crash, widely believed to be down to the terrible weather conditions as the plane came in to land.
