Brits Use Savings To Take Holidays

More and more British people are using their savings to take holidays and weekend breaks according to a survey by Birmingham Midshires.
Findings showed that 24% of people aged between 45 and 54 have admitted to dipping into their savings for a trip away.
The findings also show that Brits have withdrawn £400 on average over the last 3 months for varying reasons reasons - a 14% increase on last year. Londoners took out an average of £716 in comparison with Northerners who took out just £242 on average.
