JMC
JMC is a part of the Thomas Cook holidays group. It stands for John Mason Cook, who was the son of Thomas Cook, the original founder of the company.
JMC was created by grouping a number of the tour operators which were brought up by Thomas Cook holidays themselves. These include Inspirations, Sunset, Caledonian Airways, Sunworld and Flying Colours.
The company started operating under the JMC name in March 2000 and primarily operated from London Gatwick and Manchester airports. Alongside JMC are other well-known brands such as Sunset holidays, Club 18-30 and Blue Sky Direct.
JMC airlines are now branded as Thomas Cook Airlines, however the JMC name does still exist.
