Set back from a road behind private gates, this very comfortable villa offers lovely seclusion suited to a restful holiday. Situated on the edges of Almancil amid almond and fig orchards, it is also handy for enjoying the golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, together with sandy beaches just four kilometres away. The villa is finished to a comfortable standard, with rustic whitewashed interior walls, pretty rugs and pale ceramic flooring creating a cool feel. The bright and airy open plan sitting and dining room is a delight, with a cosy fireplace as a focal point, cushioned wall seats and comfortable sofas adding to the home-from-home atmosphere. The modern kitchen is well equipped and there is a barbecue on hand for cooking outside. Two twin bedrooms are housed on the ground floor, one with a divan and pull out bed ideal for children, whilst the two doubles are upstairs and boast their own ensuites and balconies with country views. Patio doors open from the sitting area onto a large covered terrace overlooking the picturesque garden, which is ringed by palms and high hedges for complete privacy. Good-sized terraces frame the pool, which incorporates a jacuzzi at one end - perfect for luxurious lazing in the sunshine. NB.
