Hotel Overview

Situated just 200 metres from the golden sandy beach, the Thalassa Shalimar Hotel is a 4-star Tunisian property, built in 2000. Surrounded by five hectares of lush gardens, the hotel is approximately four miles from Hammamet Medina and two miles from the port at Yasmine Hammamet.

Andalusian in style, the Thalassa Shalimar has a total of 208 guestrooms and 54 bungalows equipped with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, satellite television and a balcony or terrace.

Plenty of facilities can be found onsite including a swimming pool and a children's pool, a mini club for children aged between 4 and 10, junior entertainment for children aged between 10 and 14, two tennis courts, a mini golf course, non-motorised water sports, four restaurants and six bars.

The Thalassa Shalimar is also home to the Elyssa Spa which has 10 treatment rooms, a Turkish bath and sauna, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a beauty parlour and a hairdressing salon. Professional therapists provide a range of treatments including massages, body wraps, manicures and pedicures that will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalized.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has four restaurants and six bars. The buffet style Palm Tree Restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner or you can visit one of the two a la carte restaurants for dinner. From June to September there is also an a la carte beach BBQ restaurant open for lunch. Guests can enjoy refreshment from the lobby bar, English pub or cafeteria as well as the pool bar (April to October), the cocktail bar (May to October) or the beach bar (June to September).

##Swimming Pools
The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, a children's pool and a covered pool which is heated from November to March.
