The Sonesta Pharaoh Beach Resort Hotel is located on Sahl Hasheesh Road, just a short drive from Hurghada, in Egypt. What was once a fairly small and undisturbed fishing village, located next to the Red Sea, has now expanded into the resort of Hurghada, a place almost unrecognisable from its former existence. It has grown to become the most visited tourist destination in the whole of Egypt, with in excess of 100 different hotels, many of which are stylishly built along the shoreline. Famous for its number of superb beaches and excellent diving opportunities, Hurghada is especially appealing to those who are just beginning to grasp the ropes of scuba diving, and to those who come to be amazed at the underwater reefs and beautiful and vivid marine life.
