Hotel Overview

This luxurious hotel is located in a 70 hectare park area with a river and a fountain. It is situated in a peaceful location, overlooking the spectacular rocky landscape, between Vilamoura and Albufeira, with stunning views out over the sea. The fine sand beach of Praia da Falésia is easily reached with a lift or down a flight of stairs. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The nearest airport is 40 minutes away, Olhos de Agua is 3 km away and Albufeira and Vilamoura are around 8 km from the hotel.

The family-run hotel was built in 1992 and has 215 double rooms. Guests are offered a splendid lobby with a reception manned around the clock, a safe, lifts, a currency exchange desk, a games room, TV room and a function/conference room with Internet access. There is also a cosy hotel bar, a café, a newspaper stand, a shop, a supermarket, a hairdresser and an air-conditioned la carte restaurant with a non-smoking area highchairs for younger guests. Room and laundry services are at guests#39 disposal and there is a doctor on call. Outside, the hotel has a playground with a kids club and parking facilities.

All of the rooms are furnished in a modern style and come fitted with an en suite bathroom, including a hairdryer and a bathrobe. They additionally come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a kitchenette, a minibar, a fridge, a safe, air conditioning and central heating. All rooms include a balcony as standard.

The main feature of the hotel is the wonderful 9-hole golf course, bordering the hotel grounds. Guests are offered a pool with children#39s paddling area, a pool bar, sun loungers, parasols, water aerobics, an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a massage service, tennis, table tennis, aerobics, a gym, archery, basketball, billiards/ snooker, minigolf and a seasonal entertainment programme. Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy banana boating, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing and catamaran boating. On the beach sun loungers and parasols are both available. A fine buffet is on offer at breakfast and in the evenings. At lunch and at dinner there is also an la carte option. In addition, the hotel caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
