The Mexicana Resort Hotel (formerly known as the Creative Mexicana Hotel) is on Ras Um El Sid hill close to the centre of Sharm and its bars, casinos, restaurants, shops and diving centres. Sharm El Sheikh is world famous for its coral and aquatic wildlife with reefs just offshore and is considered to be among the top five diving and snorkelling sites in the world.
##Location
The hotel operates an air conditioned shuttle bus to Palma Beach just over a mile away. The sandy beach offers a dive centre, floating jetty parasols and easy access to the sea. Sharm is not just popular for its fabulous water sports but also many other sports and excursions are available locally including camel rides and desert safaris. The hotel has a total of 166 rooms.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has three restaurants, two bars and a snack bar.
The hotel operates an All Inclusive option which includes buffet style breakfast between 7am and 10am, light lunch from 1pm to 3pm which includes snacks, pasta, salads and deserts, afternoon Tea is from 4pm to 5pm with tea, coffee, cookies and ice cream for children at the Las Palmas pool bar, buffet style dinner is available from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
A kids corner is available at the lunch time with different daily items like mini burgers, mini pizza, sausages, French fries and jelly for deserts.
Drinks are served from 10am to 11pm and include local beer, wine and alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The La Palmas Bar is open from 10am to 6pm, the Abu Nawas opens from 6pm to 11pm, the Pizza Corner opens from 11am to 6pm - customers can order any kind of Pizza and will pay LE 15.00 supplement per person per meals during the lunch, the Steak House Restaurant: Open from 7pm to 11pm - customers can order on the restaurant and will pay $12.00 supplement per person for special set menu available and the drinks will be chargeable, the Alfredo Restaurant opens between 7pm and 11pm - customers can order at the restaurant and will pay $12.00 supplement per person for special set menu available and the drinks will be charge. No alcoholic drinks and NO food will be served at the Beach Area and all soft drinks will be served in plastic cups. N.B: the all inclusive package is not applicable around the small swimming pool Amigos Bar. No room service is included, mini bar service is not included, fresh juices are not included.
