Set just minutes from the wonderful sweeping beaches of Essaouira, the Le Palais Des Remparts offers some of the finest accommodation in the city, set in a beautifully restored traditional Moroccan Riad in an attractive location that overlooks the ramparts and the Skala (Portuguese fortress).

The hotel only recently opened in 2010, it provides excellent international standards and an elegant and relaxing atmosphere with its selection of well-furnished rooms and suites spread over the 4 floors, all accessible by elevator. Some of the pleasant facilities available at the hotel include the spa and wellness centre to help you unwind with a jacuzzi, hamman and massage service. The hotel also offers Wi-Fi access in the public areas to help you keep in touch with friends and family and a solarium to help you get the most of the wonderful sun while at the hotel. Additional services at the hotel include the 24-hour front desk to help with any queries about the area or your stay and the hotel will be happy to help arrange useful services such as laundry, car hire, bicycle rental, child services, meeting/banquet facilities and there is even an airport shuttle service provided.

##Location
The lovely Essaouira beach is just steps away from the hotel, which is perfect for relaxing in the sun on the fine sands as well as enjoying some of the exciting water sports on offer in the area. The attractive Skala du Port is also not much further where you can find as charming selection of local restaurants and bars offering fresh seafood and local cuisine and enjoy the picturesque views and its collection of ancient cannons. For those interested in the history and culture of the area may wish to visit the Essaouira Museum with its interesting collection of jewellery, costumes, weapons and musical instruments.

The hotel has a total of 23 well-appointed guest rooms with a selection of accommodation to choose from including spacious double or twin rooms (standard, superior or deluxe) and suites. Rooms with sea views are available on request and all are well-equipped with a range of amenities including: air conditioning – satellite TV – Wi-Fi – en suite bathroom.

Guests can take advantage of the room service available at the hotel for breakfast delivered to their room.

Dinner can be enjoyed in the several small cosy dining rooms and in private, with a variety of local dishes and specialties to choose from, all from fresh local produce.
