The 3-star Olimpiyat Hotel is superbly located, being both central and conveniently situated for many of Istanbul's major tourist sights and attractions. With all rooms having been recently redecorated, the Olimpiyat offers excellent value for money combined with a casual ambience and Turkish hospitality. Lying only a few minutes' walk from The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar and the underground Basilica Cistern, the hotel is literally around the corner from railway station of the famous Orient Express, as well as the busy and colourful ferry ship terminals (ideal if you want to take a trip across the Bosphorus and set foot in Asia). Accommodation features air-conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi access as standard, and is complemented by a plentiful buffet-style breakfast. Reviews of this hotel speak for themselves; For a 3-star hotel this was really excellent, The staff were very helpful and friendly, spoke excellent English, It's situated right in the heart of the historic part of Istanbul so it's a perfect base for sightseeing. What more could a guest wish for? Thoroughly recommended!
