Hotel Overview

A calm and relaxing first class hotel, the Mexicana Resort Hotel (formerly part of the Creative chain) is situated on Om el Seid Hill just four miles from Neema Bay and just over a mile from Sharm El Sheik Old Town.

There are nearly 200 guest rooms spread throughout the Mexicana Resort Hotel, all beautifully decorated in order to provide guests with the ultimate holiday experience. The bedrooms have either a terrace or balcony with views of either the swimming pools or landscaped gardens.

Eating at the Mexicana Resort Hotel is a joy with many bars and restaurants to choose from and also the choice of booking an all inclusive holiday or a stay in Sharm El Sheik on bed and breakfast or half board.

The Resort has two private beaches: Mexicana and Diamond, and an air conditioned shuttle bus service running from the Sahara Mexicana to Palma Beach.

One of the most popular diving sites in the world, there is a host of water sport activities available in the Red Sea from Sharm El Sheik.

##Location
The hotel operates an air conditioned shuttle bus to Palma Beach just over a mile away. The sandy beach offers a dive centre, floating jetty parasols and easy access to the sea. Sharm is not just popular for its fabulous water sports but also many other sports and excursions are available locally including camel rides and desert safaris. The hotel has a total of 166 rooms.

Please note that a visitor`s visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.

Meal Types available at Mexicana Resort Hotel

Bed & Breakfast
Bed & Breakfast means buffet breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.
Half Board
Half board means buffet breakfast and buffet/set menu dinner and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant.
Full Board
Full Board consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet/set menu style and are to be taken in the main buffet restaurant at the hotel. Drinks are not included unless specified.
All Inclusive
The All Inclusive information is a guide only and is subject to change and/or availability.

The All Inclusive package includes buffet breakfast (7 am to 10 am), buffet lunch (1 pm to 3 pm), afternoon tea (4 pm to 5 pm) and dinner buffet (7 pm to 10pm). Local beer, wines and spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee are available from the pool bar and main bar between the hours of 10 am and 11 pm (except 24/12 and 31/12 till 6pm).

The Las Palmas Pool bar is self service between 10 am and 6 pm and the Amigos Bar is self service between 6 pm and 11 pm. Drinks are served in plastic cups in all areas. The hotel provides activities and entertainment.

(At the beach area only soft drinks are included between 10 am and 6pm, alcoholic drinks and food are not available)
