Local Tips: Rethymnon still maintains its old aristocratic appearance, with its buildings dating from the 16th century, arched doorways, stone staircases, Byzantine and Hellenic-Roman remains, small Venetian harbour and narrow streets. FACILITIES:Dining: The Maravel Hotel is booked as All Inclusive accommodation. The hotel has a bar and snack bar by the pool as well as a restaurant with Greek traditional and international dishes and a BBQ kiosk. All inclusive means breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon snack one hour in the afternoon. Drinks are served at the bar and include barrel wine, (white, rose), draught beer, local vodka and whiskey, soft drinks, filter coffee and tea, mix juices in 6 flavours (not fresh), and mineral water.
