Hotel Overview

The Galley Bay by Elite Island Resorts (formerly known as the Galley Bay Hotel) enjoys a secluded setting on Antigua`s west coast with forty acres of tropical gardens between a bird sanctuary lagoon and a three-quarter mile long beach. Much of the island is covered with banana, mango and coconut groves, lush vegetation and rainforest as well as a number of old sugar mills and little churches.

##Location
Great care was taken when designing and building the resort, so that it blends in with the natural surroundings hence the extensive use of bamboo, thatch and terracotta. The resort is accessed via a wooden bridge and guests are taken by golf cart to one of the 69 suites and cottages either on the beach or in the gardens.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotel has two restaurants and two bars including the award winning Seagrape restaurant an oceanfront venue serving seafood and the finest local produce.
