Local tips: This hotel is located close to various bars and restaurants and the town of Sliema is well known for the extensive range of shops to be found. Just a stroll takes you to the Dragonara Casino, Super Bowl, Tigne' Point Shopping Mall and other entertainment centres. The main bus route to Valletta and St. Julians runs from just outside the hotel.
Please be advised that Eco Tax of 0,50 € per person per night (maximum 5,- € per stay) is required to be paid locally, the Eco tax will be applied for clients aged from 18 years from 1st April 2016. FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: Penny Farthing Restaurant offers a buffet-style breakfast and dinner, local and continental cuisine and carvery; Ambassadors Hall is an event venue for celebratory and business functions; the Pub is open Sept - June, internet cafe and a big screen; the Lobby Bar offers lunch, hot & cold light meals and snacks and live piano music; and the Pool Bar (open June - Sep) serves a variety of grills, salads and refreshments, and BBQs.
 
Sport, games and activities: Rooftop swimming pool & whirlpool (open Apr-Oct) with panoramic Mediterranean Sea views, sun terrace with loungers & parasols and showers; a fitness centre (guests only) with sauna and showers, treadmill machines, bench press, bicycle and stepper equipment. The hotel has a concession with a seafront private lido, Surfside Club, which is a stroll away, with water sports and scuba diving facilities. The club is available free  for the use of our guests and towels are provided at a minimal charge from Hotel Front Desk. Guests are to contact reception to obtain Day Tickets. A bar and restaurant is also available on the premises at a charge. There is direct access to the sea edge.
